Occupation: Life guard and part time student
Residence/Region:  The Western Region (able to change for partner, but prefer to be nears waves to surf).

Personality:  Kai is a very relaxed mythos. She prefers to enjoy life and making others happy. When she’s not working the Mythos can be found surfing waves. Her kindness is not bound by only other keepers, she is often known to make sure rouges are not too badly injured after a battle. Her human roommate teases that she is a “hippie-mother”.

        Kai is a strong believer in peace though she gives everyone the benefit of the doubt she is not a pushover. As a leviathan Kai is very large even in her Sealed form (wish she is very embarrassed about). She uses this to her advantage when fighting. Though she’d never say it Kai is often considered an Archangel, a warrior protector. Unfortunately due to the nature of leviathans she can become brutal and dangerous. It is thought by some of the wiser Mythos that is why she acts so kind, so she can make up for any harm she has done.

History/Description: Born on the Hawaiian island Lanai Kai’s family tried to keep the young mythos sheltered and safe from the rouges. They had lived a calm and quiet life; that is until Kai learned to walk. Ever since then the young Mythos desperately tried to reach the water. This troubled the parents since they had no intention of telling Kai of her heritage.

        For her entire childhood life Kai rushed to the sea whenever she had a free moment. No matter what Kai was doing she would always try to find a way back to the waters. She felt safe and at peace there. The other children ridiculed her for her size, saying she was a monster. Kai pretended the names never hurt her, and for a while she believed them. When she was able to surf she completely dropped out of school. She was known even on the other islands for her skill. She didn’t seem to age either, her youth and unique beauty never deteriorated. She gained the interested and affection of many men. Kai believed she was finally accepted.

        However, when the girl was 19 everything changed. When she was out surfing with her friends when her Sealed form shattered giving way to her true form: a massive Sea Monster. The sudden mass in the water caused her friends to crash. They didn’t survive.

        For many, many years Kai never used her true form, she was after all a monster. Her father had left to fight in WW1. He was killed in action. One stormy night word of a lost war-ship had reached the island. Kai couldn’t help but try to help. Tales of a sea monster pushing the ship to shore spread across the island, but were dismissed. Realizing she would be able to help and not just cause chaos Kai journeyed around the world to help anyone and everyone who needed it.

        At the start of the 2000’s Kai settled in California, where she became a lifeguard and not long after a part time student. Kai had never been told of other mythos by her parents. They had hoped by keeping the others a secret they would be safe from rouges.  One night though a group of humans was attacked by a rouge, this was when Kai discovered her Fated form. Her size and strength were no match for the rouge, but left fear in the area-she was a monster again.

        Or was she? The people in the city seemed to…forget. Completely forget? That was when Kai met another mythos, another monster like her! He explained the Chancel and Keepers and everything to her. Immediately Kai joined up, excited to help in any way she could.

Personality:         

    Kai always wears a bathing suit underneath her clothes, She owns many.

     Makes up random songs.

            Her surf board is named Greg.

            She often forgets how big and strong she is.

            Known for staying in shower/ bath too long forgets to dress when she leaves

    (Embarrassing!)

            Somewhat ditzy.

Fated Form

    She has five tentacles in addition to her tail.

    Armor on arms is not as durable as her True form armor.

    Slithers in Fatedform, doesn’t walk around like Ursula.

    Lightning power comes from arms/hands.

    (is nowhere close to as powerful as her true form’s.)

    Can climb with her “crab leg things…”

True Form

        Kai’s True form is fast out of the water but not agile.

    (Can run in a straight line fast, but can’t make sharp turns)

            Kais True form needs to stay wet.

    She has five tentacles in addition to her tail.

    Fast swimmer.

    Can survive pressure of deep ocean.

    This form has gills.
